Terminology
Anchor group - a number of similar anchors having approximately equal effective embedment depths with spacing s between adjacent anchors such that the projected areas overlap. That can refer to the expanded steels, three diamonds embedded with effective depth of 1-3/4" over a 4" width
Anchor pull out strength - the strength corresponding to the anchoring devise or a major component of the device sliding out from the concrete without breaking out a substantial portion of the surrounding concrete. Usually the expanded steel will break out surrounding concrete without sliding out
Anchorage Devic, basic - devices that are so prortioned that they can be checked analytically for compliance with bearing and stiffness requirements without having to undergo the acceptance testing program required of special achorage devices - The embedded expanded steel devices do not ever show any signs of deformation at pull out strength. It's always a concrete failure.
