Heat exchanger

The expanded steel lattice (the couplers) are evenly spaced vertically and horizontally.  Sheet metal strips can be layed horizontally on the couplers and mounted vertically to form a labyrinthine path.  The sheet metal conducts the heat differential in the very simplest manner.
